Season 2022
After being absent on stage for 3 years, ProArteDanza returns with its annual fall season. With an increased sense of loneliness experienced by many, ProArteDanza reconnects with a mixed program. Only Who’s Left by Lesley Telford weaves together contemporary dance and conceptual narrative to explore human connections and how we experience and respond to that connectivity. Roberto Campanella’s emotionally resonant Fearful Symmetries (2016), with the movement motif of running, poses the question: is the ensemble on stage getting anywhere or merely struggling to keep up with an ever-changing world? Beast A La Mode by Syreeta Hector explores the primary threat to human thriving, which is the chaos of human and social relations. Human beings have a desire to control, to put order into chaos that surrounds us, but what happens when that process fails? Chantelle Good ‘s outstanding new duet originally created for ProArteDanza’s annual ChoreoLab is now part of the fall season 2022.

On November 2th, 3th, 4th, and 5th, ProArteDanza reconnects to the stage and its audience for the 2022 Fall Season with a thrilling mixed programme.

Chantelle Good "Tethered to Your Palms"
Choreographer, 2022 Fall Season
Chantelle Good ‘s new duet, Tethered To Your Palms, originally created for ProArteDanza’s annual ChoreoLab is a look into the act of preserving memories both within ourselves and with others. How can we take care of the sacred moments that stay with us while honouring the truth of the initial experience? How can we hold someone’s memory of a shared encounter, even when it is different from our own? Tethered To Your Palms is dedicated to Karen Green-Fischer (1950-2021).
